GRS Doorstep Carnival

Black Voices and ACEDM will present a Doorstep Carnival at Grosvenor Road Studios.  Elders and young people from Birchfield will be encouraged to attend workshops in advance of the day itself to learn The People’s Anthem and some of the choreographed dance so that they can directly participate with the performers.  Accompanied by rolling road closures around the immediate area, a carnival procession will take place with the emphasis on inviting the local community to take part in the activity. Once the procession has arrived at Grosvenor Road Studios, the activity will continue in the Community Garden.
